Brisbane talent shaped the experience from the outset. Each night centred on an eight-minute sound-and-light show, curated by Young Franco in its first year and Tom Thum in its second, combining original soundtracks, projection, lighting, fireworks and snowfall.

Beyond the nightly show, the precinct came alive with festive dining, curated menus from The Star’s restaurants and a line-up of local food trucks.

Two stages showcased Brisbane DJs and electronic instrumentalists, with performances evolving from relaxed sunset sessions into high-energy late-night sets.
Sono Lumo welcomed more than 80,000 visitors across ten nights in 2025, more than doubling year-on-year benchmarks for attendance, dwell time and expenditure, firmly establishing Queen’s Wharf as a major entertainment destination.
"This year's event has helped position Brisbane and Queen's Wharf as a vibrant, culturally rich destination. The feedback we've received from TEQ and BEDA reinforces just how valuable these moments are, for our local community and our visitor economy alike."
