The evening began with a Welcome to Country and an intimate performance of Salt by Bangarra Dance Theatre, amplified by kinetic lighting and immersive projection.

Hosts Sylvia Jeffreys and Roger Corser reimagined the famous Qantas safety demonstration before performances by Tones and I, Budjerah, the Australian Girls Choir and Kylie Minogue, who opened with I Still Call Australia Home before launching into her classic hits.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese delivered the keynote address, followed by Qantas CEO Alan Joyce and Chairman Richard Goyder AO. The program created space for conversations about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice, diversity and LGBTQI+ rights.
“The event could not have been a greater success. We received wonderful feedback from guests who were grateful to be part of it. Thank you all, it was an enormous production, managed seamlessly, and we couldn’t have hoped for a better result.”
